The Masai Mara, often referred to as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife destinations, is home to the Big Five and an abundance of other wildlife, including cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless bird species.
The highlight of the Mara is the Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October), where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters in search of greener pastures. Even outside the migration season, the Mara offers thrilling year-round game viewing.
In addition to game drives, this safari offers an optional cultural visit to a Maasai village, giving you a chance to interact with the Maasai people, learn about their traditions, and enjoy a taste of their unique culture. This package includes budget tented camp accommodation, meals as per the itinerary, and transportation in a comfortable safari vehicle with an experienced driver-guide.

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi at 6:00 AM with your safari driver-guide. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos. Continue through Narok town, a bustling Maasai trading center, before arriving at your budget camp near the Masai Mara. A welcome drink will be served as you check in, followed by a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, you may choose to relax at the camp or head out for an optional evening game drive (extra cost). Later, visit a Maasai cultural village to experience traditional dances, songs, and unique Maasai lifestyle. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, set out for an extensive morning game drive in Masai Mara. This is the best time to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, or even leopards as they are still active from the night hunt. Explore the vast savannah plains in search of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide range of antelopes and bird species.
After the game drive, return to camp for check-out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. Drop-off will be at your preferred location—hotel, airport, or residence.
